I never imagined I would become a Massage Therapist. I didn’t spend much time thinking about the future or mapping out my career; I just wanted to get out of the small town I grew up in, but knew I needed to have some sort of direction.  So, on a whim, I enrolled in a Massage Therapy program at a medical tech school across the country in Phoenix, AZ. It was only after starting classes that I realized how much massage resonated with me. What began as a spontaneous decision grew into a deep passion through education and hands-on training. Now, over two decades later, I can’t imagine being anything else.

A little background:

As a graduate of The Bryman School of Phoenix 2005, I received more training hours and education credits than the state of Maryland requires, earning me the title of Licensed Massage Therapist. This advanced training means I graduated with certifications in more modalities than most standard programs offer, including:

Swedish

Deep Tissue

Trigger Point Therapy

Reflexology

Sports Massage

Myofascial Release

Prenatal Massage

Lymphatic Drainage

Additionally, I’ve pursued continuing education to earn certifications in:

Hot Stone Massage

Cupping Therapy

Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques

Upledger CranioSacral Therapy

Lomi Lomi (a traditional Hawaiian healing practice -which is special to me because I received my training while living on Maui)

I have worked in every setting imaginable; from wellness centers to chiropractic offices, local day salons to a Forbes Five Star luxury spa in Hawaii. Having such a comprehensive experience has made my massage practice very well rounded, giving it a versatility that is unmatched by any other.

Why you should schedule a massage with me:By integrating all the modalities I have mastered over the years, I am able to provide each client with a massage experience that is uniquely tailored to their individual needs. My approach centers on attentively listening -not only to what clients express, such as their specific concerns and goals for the session, but also to the subtle cues communicated by their bodies. I believe that nothing should be forced during a massage; instead, I work collaboratively with your body to achieve your desired outcome for the session. This method ensures a meaningful and effective experience, leaving you feeling heard, cared for, and better than you did before you arrived at the massage table.
